How do I book my dog in to stay with Southern Pro?
We require all first time boarders to meet us before staying with us, so we can meet you & your dog, check that their vaccinations are up to date, and fill out paperwork.
Once your dog has passed our meet & greet all you need to do is call or text us to get your dog booked in.
How often are dogs let out?
Dogs go out every 2 hours in supervised groups from 6:30am-9:00pm.
Is someone on site 24-7?
Yes, someone is always present on the grounds of the kennel.
What vaccinations are my dog required to have?
Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, & Rabies
Can I visit the kennel?
Absolutely, we encourage potential clients to tour the facility and meet our staff.
What if my dog were to get sick while boarding?
We have a veterinarian on call. If your dog shows any signs of illness, we will contact you immediately.
Do you provide grooming services?
We have a groomer that comes to the kennel once a month and does grooming by appointment.
We can provide bathing and nail care for an additional fee.
Do you take aggressive dogs?
No, we do not take aggressive dogs.
Can you send pictures of my dog during their stay?
Absolutely! We will never charge extra for pictures/videos/facetimes.
Do you take females in heat?
No, we do not allow females in heat to be at the kennel.
If your dog comes into heat during their stay we will contact you or your emergency contact and require them to be picked up.
What if I need to pick my dog up after hours?
We have an after hours fee for late pickups or early drop offs.
How many dogs do you train at a time?
We like to only have 5-8 dogs during the month for training.
What happens if I need to extend my dog’s stay?
We can always extend their stay or shorten their stay if needed. You are charged by the night and no penalities if you decide to pick your dog up early.
What can I bring with my dog?
You can bring their food or we can provide ours, Victor Hi Pro Plus. If your dog is on a fresh/raw food we do have refridgerators where we can store their food. We do have plenty of bowls, so you do not need to bring your own. You can provide treats for your dog as well.
You are more than welcome to bring your own bed or blanket however there is a chance it could get dirty. We also have kurando beds for our boarders.
